GERSHMAN MORTGAGE SELECTED “2003 SMC ASSOCIATE MEMBER COMPANY OF THE YEAR” BY THE HBA
ST. LOUIS, February 25, 2004-St. Louis-based Gershman Mortgage was selected the “2003 SMC Associate Member Company of the Year” by the Home Builders Association of St. Louis. The award was given at the annual Sales & Marketing Council Awards Banquet, held February 19th at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel. Cardinals’ broadcaster Wayne Hagin emceed the event.
Gershman is the oldest independent mortgage company in St. Louis, and one of the largest in Missouri. Gershman is an area leader in FHA/VA and conventional single-family home loans, having financed over 50,000 loans in the St. Louis area alone. The company provides conventional, conforming, Jumbo, fixed-rate, adjustable rate, FHA, and VA loans.
Gershman provides all types of financing for apartments, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and hospitals. Homebuyers can use the site’s new secure online application for buying, refinancing, or to pre-qualify themselves. The site offers tips for first time buyers, a glossary of mortgage terms, guides to buying and refinancing, and current industry news as well as current rates and mortgage calculators, and rate search capabilities.
The site’s commercial side outlines the products and programs available to commercial borrowers. It provides links to important resources and includes a list of documents necessary for reviewing loan requests. In addition, the site highlights projects and facilities financed by Gershman Mortgage.
