Wayne Hoffman

Mr. Hoffman is Gershman Investment Corp.’s Senior Vice-President, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer. He joined Gershman in February 2005 and has been in the mortgage banking industry since November 1992. His responsibilities include the oversight of all accounting, finance, cash management, and insurance functions. He is a key member of the executive management team for both the single family and multi-family divisions of the company.

Mr. Hoffman graduated with honors from Missouri State University in Springfield Missouri in May of 1983 with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and received his CPA designation immediately upon graduation. Mr. Hoffman was a member of the Missouri State baseball team during all four years at the school. He is a member of the Missouri Society of CPAs, where he has held various committee positions, and the American Institute of CPAs. Immediately after graduation, Mr. Hoffman was employed as a CPA at RubinBrown, CPAs in St. Louis, a firm specializing in, amongst other industries, mortgage bankers, real estate, and construction. During his time with the firm, Mr. Hoffman became the manager responsible for the firm’s mortgage banking division along with other responsibilities in the areas of manufacturing, real estate partnerships, property management, and wholesale distributors. During his time with RubinBrown, Mr. Hoffman also had responsibility for preparation of corporate, individual and partnership tax returns. His employment at RubinBrown was from June 1983 through November 1992. Mr. Hoffman was the CFO of another St. Louis Mortgage Banking firm from December 1992 through January 2005.
