2021 Operations Summit Recap

St. Louis, MO – May 7, 2021 – Gershman Mortgage just wrapped up their first ever Operations Summit on May 5^th, 2021. The event was completely virtual and over 180 employees tuned in. The Operations Summit is the first of many to recognize the exceptional achievements of the operations staff, share updates, and collaborate with colleagues.

The event was kicked off by President, Adam Mason who eagerly welcomed all attendees and acknowledged everyone for their hard work and perseverance in the chaotic but astounding year that was 2020. The VP’s of Operations, Diane Macko and Ali Martin, took over and released company updates, reflected on the last year and kept the audience laughing with their on-air chemistry and several raffle prizes.  

Guest Speaker and life coach, Jones Loflin spoke on the importance of finding time for yourself and the ability to juggle elephants. Loflin continued his segment with types of overloads and how to feel comfortable celebrating our wins. Our attendees were split into breakout groups to discuss their elephants and routines to start implementing into our daily lives. Loflin’s charisma and energy had everyone participating in the group chat and everyone left feeling relaxed, inspired and ready to become the ringmasters of their own circus.

Macko and Martin also led the panelist discussion and awards ceremony. The discussion started with several operations team members sharing their favorite parts of working with Gershman and the struggles/benefits of working from home. The awards presentation recognized several outstanding operations staff with awards for their achievements over the past year. They showcased rookie of the year, MVP, and many work anniversaries. Gershman was very excited to see all of the inspiration and collaboration created at this event. Everyone is already looking forward to 2022, where the summit can hopefully continue in-person.
