Get Pre-Approved for a Home Loan

Before you start attending open houses and touring homes, it’s crucial to get a strong pre-approval.

At Gershman, we know how important it is for first-time homebuyers to quickly and easily get pre-approved.

Our home loan process was created with you in mind. It’s simple enough to complete over the phone, in person, or through our Gershman Mobile App. We will check and verify you have all of the required documents:

  • W2 or 1099s for each job you’ve held over the past two years
  • Personal and Business Tax Returns: for the last two years (if self-employed)
  • Pay Stubs: for the last 30 days
  • Bank Statements: for the last two months (all pages)
  • Brokerage Statements: most recent (all pages)
  • Driver’s License: an enlarged copy for borrower and co-borrower

Complete the Loan Process

Once you and your agent have found your dream home and your offer has been, the loan process begins. You’ll lock in your interest rate and order your appraisal. Get a home inspection as well so you can learn the ins and outs of your soon-to-be home!

Enjoy Your Home

After your loan closes and you get your keys from the agent, it’s official: you now own your very own home. Congratulations! Decorate it how you see fit (Gershman Blue is always in style 😉), buy yourself a welcome mat, and kick up your feet. You are finally a homeowner!
