Over 80 Loan Officers Attend the 2020 LO Summit

St. Louis, Missouri –The second Annual Loan Officer Summit took place February 6-7 at the Chase Park Plaza in St. Louis. Over 80 loan officers from multiple states, including Missouri, Florida, Iowa, Colorado, Illinois, Kentucky and Nebraska, attended to network, learn and celebrate. The Gershman Mortgage Annual LO Summit is an annual conference where our loan officers from different branches and locations gather to share ideas and experiences, to network and learn, and to recognize outstanding service and milestones.

Adam Mason, President, kicked off the Summit welcoming everyone, talking about 2019 success and our bright future. The summit featured two nationally renowned mortgage industry speakers join us: Kristin Messerli, Founder of Cultural Outreach, and Brian Stevens, Co-Host and Head Writer of the National Real Estate Post. Messerli spoke about millennial first-time home buyers and Stevens spoke about marketing for loan officers.

In addition to the speakers, the first day of the Summit included an awards ceremony that really got the crowd going. Adam Mason, President, and Jeff Ogden, SVP of Production, personally handed out over 60 awards to the loan officers. Day 1 concluded with an outing to the St. Louis Blues game, in which Gershman Mortgage had reserved a private suite for the loan officers. For some loan officers, this was their first hockey game experience!

The second day of the Summit began with a State of Gershman Mortgage speech by Adam Mason. The remainder of the day was spent discussing strategies to grow loan officer originations. It was a collaborative day where the crowd was eager to learn and help each other out! The Summit was a tremendous success and we look forward to 2021!
